We are an agritourism entity advocating for the economic opportunities in sustainable wild harvesting, processing and education of remote communities about the uses and benefits of indigenous plants for wellbeing.
Difokeng Africa’s journey into indigenous wellness began when Lebogang Mokomane and Makwena Nzimande opened their first spa business in 2016 using various beauty products containing exotic ingredients not sourced locally.
As co-founders, we committed to exploring natural plants in the rural villages of Sekhukhune, Limpopo to create wellness products that are mutually beneficial for local harvesters to gain economic opportunities.
Our conscious decision to return to sustainable and traditional wellness knowledge opened vast fields of under-utilized natural resources that will be sown to reap financial and social wellbeing.
